Sahara Valley Ecolodge is the only operator in Bahariya Oasis which organises salt lake bath and sand bath. Salt lake bath and sand bath are rich in minerals which are needed by our body.
Just few hundred metres from Sahara Valley Ecolodge, you can experience both hot and cold spring all year round.
The remains of English camp from WWII is found on top of this mountain. This is the highest point in the surrounding mountain range used during WWII for monitoring location of the forthcoming enemy invading into the area.
As a Bedouin, camel is consider as part of our tradition which we use it as a form of our transportation across countries for trading. Camel is symbol of desert life. Until now we still using camels in our desert trip to share our Bedouin culture.
As a Bedouin I live all my life dreaming to have food from my garden like our forefather time where vegetables are organically grown. At Sahara Valley Ecolodge, we are happy to share our organic farm harvest to our guest.
We use most of the ingredients from our organic farm to serve our guest. At Sahara Valley Ecolodge, we have 4 types of food options; Egyptian local food, Bedouin food, vegan and vegetarian. We also offer our kitchen and organic garden to our guest for exchange of their food experience.
